The PGT is a tie designed for attaching wood fence rails to metal fence posts. This pipe grip tie can be used in new construction or to replace damaged wooden posts. Ideal for a variety of conditions, the PGT helps to eliminate the rot and failures to which wood fence posts are most prone, thus extending the life of a fence.

Install on 2 in (2-3/8 in outside diameter) vertical pipes, offsetting corners to allow for the correct rail alignment
Use 3 to 4 PGTs per pipe; line up to stringline
Field-bend PGT flanges to fit corner and angled conditions (bend one time only)
ZMAX(R) galvanization offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications
A solid connection with quick and easy installation
Ideal for replacing damaged wood posts or for new fence construction
Install on vertical pipes, offsetting corners to allow for the correct rail alignment
Use three to four PGTs per pipe; line up to stringline
Tighten PGT with one 1/4 in hex head bolt (supplied)
Attach PGT to rails using four 1/4 x 1-1/2 in Strong-Drive(R) SDS heavy-duty connector screws (not supplied), 1/4 in lag screws may be substituted
